Join us for Mountain Mind: an experiential exploration of how mountains, tea, and meditation have supported each other for millennia. We will be exploring tea and mindfulness as a support for deepening connection with the more-than-human world around us. We are working with wilderness and mindfulness experts, a mule team to carry in supplies, including our packs, food, and a backcountry kitchen in which all of our meals will be cooked for us on site. Mornings will begin with zazen meditation, gongfu cha tea ceremony and education, and breakfast. Afternoons will include a contemplative hike, getting to know our plant relatives, tea as mindfulness, and picnic lunch. Evenings back at base camp will include dinner, a campfire, discussion & reflection about the day, wild-foraged tisane, evening meditation, and bed. July 13-18, 2026.
