The most ancient of the scented teas having been enjoyed since the fifth century. Most jasmine-scented teas use synthetic flavoring but ours uses real, high altitude Fujian jasmine flowers. Premium first flush green tea is harvested and stored until late summer when jasmine flowers are in full bloom. The jasmine flowers are harvested in the morning when they are closed tight and kept cool until they fully open during the night. Once the flowers open and release their nocturnal fragrance, the tea and jasmine flowers are layered on top of each other to scent the green tea. The process is then repeated for several days to extract the flavor necessary to complete this delicacy.

Brewing Guidelines
Teapot/mug: 1 tablespoon of dry leaf per 8oz of water. 175° water. Steep for 3 minutes. Add 1 minute for each additional infusion.
