Hibiscus Immune Boost
We wanted to craft an elixir that boosts the immune system when you are feeling under the weather yet also a flavor you desire when you’re at the top of your game. Each of the ingredients in the Immune Boost Tonic is known for its high vitamin C content as well as other vitamins and minerals that may help ward off that cold you feel coming on or quickly get over the one you unfortunately caught. The Immune Boost Tonic may ease your sore throat, soothe your stomach, clear your sinuses, and help you return to feeling normal all while you enjoy its delicious flavor.
Ingredients: star anise, cinnamon, echinacea, elderberries, ginger root, hibiscus flowers, orange peel, red rose petals, rose hips.
Tasting notes: hibiscus, citrus, elderberry, dried apricot, ginger, cranberry; bold and smooth.
Health notes: May replace electrolytes and ease symptoms of colds, rich in vitamins A, E, K, and C, contains beta-carotene, antioxidant, eases sore throats, soothes upset stomach, aids in proper digestion, increases production of white blood cells, reduces pain.
Brewing Guidelines
Teapot/mug: 1 tablespoon of dry leaf per 8oz of water. 195°-205° water. Steep for 5 minutes. 8 minutes for each additional infusion.
