An incredible tea from the Samabeong Estate, one of the most remote in Darjeeling. Grown at an altitude of ~6,000 feet where cloud cover causes milder temperatures and sweeter, softer tea leaves. Aromatic muscatel flavors, floral and fruity sweetness – offering a perfect balance of sweet, astringent, & savory. This Darjeeling will defy you to call it a black tea, reminding us more of a light oolong.
Tasting notes: muscat grapes, orchid, passion fruit, eucalyptus
